Noticed my rear screen had molten metal marks in the glass forgot to cover it when we welded the holes up what the spoiler left behind . Don't suppose I can get these out how much is a rear screen for these haven't got it insured at the moment as it's of road doesn't matter if is a uk screen it has dark tint film on .which I know I will need to replace thanks Taff

Second hand, buy a rotten tailgate with one in and have a windscreen company swap them over. You'll likely need new trim around the bottom, which is about £90.

They're different.

Taff, I do believe that Jeff has one. He has Sir Charles' old SWB that was flood damaged. When I was down there last (a few months ago), the tailgate and glass were still on the car.

Yup, mine is still the original upper trim. As long as the screen guy knows what he's doing, it can be saved. It's molded plastic over a metal structure that's clipped in.

To get the metal out rub a copper coin flat over the glass it will still be pitted but it wont have rusty metal on it.
