Why does bad things happen to good people?? Lynda was on her way to work this morning minding her own business, when she got to a junction to pull left onto a main road a large van in front suddenly reversed back into her his tow bar punching a hole through the bumper pushing her backwards luckily no car behind her or the car would be damaged at both ends, the van driver admitted fault ( see how long that lasts) explaining he was going to go left and then decided to go right so had to move back and did not see her!! WTF! that what the big mirrors on each door is for! Lynda genuinely has a little neck and shoulder pain etc, but its the hassle now with assessors and statements and it will put our insurance up next time even though its not Lynda`s fault because that`s how insurance companies see it now its a claim who ever paid up! trouble is I know the low cost of cars now if we push it for a full repair they will write off a perfectly good car for a bumper which I have already found a used one on e-bay the right colour for £99 not sure the best way to go now.

Should of stayed in bed!!!!!!

They say the next morning after a bump the pain and suffering gets a lot worse mate and can affect the quality of life:x:;)

If you have legal cover on your insurance, get them onto reclaiming your excess after from the third party, neck injuries as it will be stiffer tomorrow..... make sure she see's a doctor to get it checked out.......

If it wasn't her fault it shouldn't affect your insurance next year as long as it doesn't go knock for knock..... If her insurance gets full recovery then you should be fine......

Sorry Jeff, I have had loads of people hit my cars......lol

Glad Lynda is okay.......

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

No. It does affect your insurance. I had a no fault accident a couple of years ago and was told it would affect my premiums for 5 years
