400>450 is the expected max power .. there are a few running a little more .. how long the box last's .. who knows you take your chances

I see the car so far as cat ack system cone fiter chip and boost is 14 psi feel the car defo need more power am going to uprate intercoolers next but feel its just a bit slow for me at this power

Its difficult to give it a power rating. Too many factors, mostly in relation to current condition and how long you then expect it to last.

 

But the autobox is the weakest and most unreliable part of the 300zx.....at standard power!

your pushing your luck at stock power mine once did 2 in a month at just over 400hp

 

massive power can be done on the auto box but it need rebuilding and few internal mods

Hey Dan ile take you out in my Manual running a bar of boost mate at the weekend...you,ll get out the car with a hatred for auto,s i gaurantee it;)

Nearly 2 years between 390 & 450 bhp, up to 480+ lbft and a max of 1.68 bar with many launches up the dragstrip before giving up the ghost at TOTB :(

 

Still drivable, just....
