Hi and welcome Wayne.....

....I too look forward to pics of your car - my old red ZX was a 1990 auto and that was last owned by a chap in Sussex!! The reg ended in "POF" after I took my private plate back; you haven't bought that, by chance, have you?

finally got around to taking the z to work, put her on the ramp to have a good look round and do an oil and filter change. I was quite pleased with the over all condition of the underside of the old girl, a couple of very minor oil leaks, play in both hicas joints aaaaaaand thats about it.

Hi there Wayne, welcome! see its got the 99 spec front bumper which is a nice upgrade you dont have to fork out yourself!

and im fairly local, just over the county border nr Portsmouth

That does indeed look a tidy car - thanks for sharing the pics Wayne!!

One word of advice though - I can't quite make it out from the pictures, but do be careful where you jack the car if you're not using the standard jack!! It's best not to lift it by the seam under the sills as you will eventually bend the seam out of shape. And never jack it by the area under the front wings - as it can eventually cause the wings to "pop" proud of the rest of the bodywork!!

Always make sure that your garage, tyre fitters etc. place the jack under a secure point on the chassis!!
