i'd torch my entire car if someone did that. I couldn't live with myself knowing my z was ever abused by those!

rofl.......

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

lol... I didn't realise just how "Marmite" these lights were...

Really? It's like slicing your nose off and gluing a tampon to your face. Removing the key and most distinguishable styling feature of the Z32. :)

If I found 4 on my car, I would get out the socket set and remove them.

If I found 6 on my car I would get out the hammer....

If she's talking about inches then she has a point

Yep she was, the missus is very tongue in cheek lol

Re the 6 pot lights I had them on my last zed when I bought it, with lights, centre panel and perspex strip sprayed body colour.... which I liked

and fitted them on this one, but with lights black. perspex strip black and genuine illuminated centre panel... which I think I like more

Either way they to me look much more modern than the nissan rear lights which together with the original wheels are the only two features that date the car..... IMHO :innocent:

They look great lit up at night but, with hindsight and after issues with blending the one piece panel and at the time my oem lights were in poor condition i would have and prefer 99 specs, but its the route i took at the time and i like them. :tt2:

When i get another zed ( im not getting rid of this one lol) i would have a 99 spec front end or stillen lip, no skirts or rear valance, 99 spec lights and stock rear spoiler albeit in fibreglass, nice set of wheels and leave it at that :thumbup1:

bingo!

bingo!

Sometimes you need a few years to have a play before discovering it

The Z32 rear lights are about as dated as Marlyn Monroe. A timeless design that nothing else seems to evoke.

So do these! Nothing else remotely like it!

IMO, the rear of the Z32 is one of those timeless classics. The rear lights really make this car look exotic as there's little out there that's ever looked similar.

I have to say the oem design is right one. It was those long lozenge shaped lights that first caught my eye when I saw the first one. They really are so distinctive. The afterburner or pot lights in any variety just look like you wanted a skyline rear end, which look like corvette lights. A copy of a copy. Grocers work, primarily because he doesn't have the centre panel and its 4 reversing sections cluttering up the place.

When I first got my zed I wanted to go body kit mental, that quickly passed. Now I've seen the car for a few years and looked at it from every angle seen plenty of well done examples, I know the look I want. OEM+ little smoother little lower but clean and simple, the benifits of this style of corse is not only does it makes the car worth more bit its cheaper too.

Over the next year there's going to be some big, little differences to look at on my car, this time next year is will be very simular but also very different.

LOL... puts it in perspective...

but I have to admit that I'm an "old school look" fan (the 99 spec).
