I've just read through the first 4 pages of that thread and its confusing as hell to be honest. I have no idea how much its going to cost and it looks like there's a long waiting time with regards to shipping etc. ill take a gamble and find one online somewhere lol

Sound is a very subjective topic and whilst most audiophiles would probably tell you to avoid this as its never going to deliver the best 'SQ', it all really depends on your personal requirements/perception of sound quality. If you set these up in a sound booth with good quality speakers and compared it to a more 'premium' unit, with the same speakers, I think you would tell the difference by a long way. However, a car is never an ideal environment for SQ - when your burbling down the motorway at 70mph, the road noise, wind noise exhaust noise and general car noise is likely to make the same comparison fairly negligible. I am not a sound engineer by the way, just an opinion from a music lover :)

Rhianna at 70mph in traffic, is no way Beethoven in a concert hall. Go for it!

Most important for your safety is ease of use.

Just noticed No Bluetooth on that unit..... so no phone hands free through the head unit..... see if there is one with camera + bluetooth...... ??

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I'd rather listen to goose-honk than Rhianna! :)

you buy cheap u get cheap crap ..

Glad you saw this thread mark. As the ICE expert would you not reccomend this? The reason I want a double dine is because min is nasty looking at the moment being 2 singles. Couple this with the double DIN fascia im already at nearly £250 and once these bit ore in id like some new speakers because mine have terrible distortion

That does look good :) I had thought about buying 2nd hand its just being patient and finding a decent one at the right price.

Mine was pretty much plug and play. I'm not one to go stupid about sound quality but quite frankly mine is actually very good, I'm I'm there's better stuff out there.

Mine has the reverse camera as well, I just don't use it.

I would say I wanted Bluetooth tho.

In all honesty I would take the one I have over the premium stuff that mark was selling the other week and sped the other 600 quid i saved on something else
