Please tell me you had the rust cut out rather than fibreglassed over though! :)

Yeah, he said he ground it back, then cut out up to good metal, welded a plate in and the smoothed it all out with some kind of filler. I haven't seen it in the flesh yet or spoke to Dean face to face yet, hopefully going to get chance to nip in tomorrow.

I nipped in to see the car again last night, and it has been painted and polished, still had the bumpers to do though. I'm going on Thursday night hopefully to do a boost leak test and to put a few bits on so that they can be polished, and hopefully finish it off at the weekend.

only took a couple of pics, I was too busy talking.

But I can't seem to upload them (guessing because I still need to re-sub) and photobucket is being remedial.

hopefully get them up later.

Thanks guys. I have another set of trim, but it's in a shape, I was going to go for the plasti dip option, I tried to remove the ones on the targas a while ago but I couldn't get them off for the life of me so I think i'll just paint them in situ. The little rear ones are brand spanking though so they can stay there.

I took it to a place near teesport, he's just started out by himself. Only reason because he owed me some cash for some electrical work. He's done a class job though, it looks awesome, may even be home at the weekend.

Well, It's finally finished, had to rush the reuild due to some work coming in, so didn't get chance to polish the exhaust, or do the boost leak test. but I can do that at a later date.

unfortunately I lost one of the clips to allow the rear marker to e screwed in, so I'm going to have to find one of them, but apart from that she's looking good.

Going to buy some wax today while the weathers nice and get it on. I'll start a new post with the finished photo's. but here's a few for now.

It was a tough decision, but I'm glad I went with the stillen, the quality is so much better been plastic. I think the impul would of been nice, but knowing my luck it wouldn't last the year. And I am really pleased with the finished result, So much better than the Greddy.

i agree it is a hard choice between the impul and the stillen as there both look amazing but tbh anything looks better then the greddy front end

I have to scone that! The number plate needs to be a small uk one which me personally would think will look well.
