Great to meet you Sunday BTW - and for the life of me I cannot remember whether the interior trim of your car (panels, not seats) is suede or tweed....:oops:

 

If it's a blue-ish suede-type material (alcantara) then it's a series 2; whereas if it is more like tweed and not so smooth to the touch, then it's an S1. Also the heater controls are different too; S1 cars have basic over-riding controls for fan speed only; along with a read-out for outside temperature. Whereas the S2 cars also had electronic adjustment for direction of the fan - and no display for outside temp.

 

Oh - and as your's is a UK spec, it will only be S1 or S2 - so forget about later editions mate...!!

yeah i know i cocked up my user name it should have been jim@southwales ,if it can be changed would be great did not know if poss.

i think my baby must be a s1 but seats are the alcantra trim until i find some leather front seats have the rear in my spare room already. she is luvly

as for jae i have been a bad boy and booked the whole friday off (its the bi-annual stocktake )oh dear ill miss the 18 hour day!!!this time

so let me know if and when your passing monmouth either meet at the services north of monmouth a449 (a40) ,approx 3 miles north of the monmouth roundabout

or at mine in monmouth for a cuppa more the merrier ,dead easy to find loads of parking :clown:

Will be leaving about 930ish so passing Monmouth about 10.30ish ?!?
