Another fantastic day and thanks to Keith (kjz32)Lee (JaiKai) Mikey Bean and Lee Dent

Alarm set for 03:00 Thursday 29th August. Up and showered ready for Keith to pick me up at 05:00.

From our place we drove to Troon in Scotland to see Lee (JaiKai) and collect my new engine (and a few other bits Lee was kind enough to let me have (cheers buddy, much appreciated).

From Lee's place we drove down to Mikey Bean's place, where we collected another engine for Adam (Hollings). After loading the engine into the van, Mikey made us a cuppa, and we had a good natter before we set off once again.

We then travelled down to Shrewsbury and left an engine with Lee Dent, had a cuppa with Lee, and again a good chat. Back in the van once again, and Keith brings me home, and then has to drive home himself, cheers Keith, thanks for your time today, and collecting the engine for me.

So another great Zed related day, covering almost 700 miles, if not more by the time Keith arrived home.

Thanks to everyone for yesterday/today, it was and is much appreciated.

keith is a lottery win of generosity when it comes to how far he will go to help members out, and a true credit to know.

Good to know that another 2 z's are gonna be put back on the road again too.

sounds like you had a very busy day.

This is again why this forum and it's members are so good..... Well done Keith, Mikey and Lee...... I have never met such helpful and generous people as on here apart from back in the day owning a VW beetle.....

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

Thanks for your kind words guys. Yep Keith is a diamond with what he will do for forum members, Lee (JaiKai) Mikey Bean and Lee Dent are absolute stars too. I hadn't met Lee Dent before, but when we left his place, it felt like I had known him for years. Thanks again to you all.

I'm sure we will meet one of these days....lol. Lee is a really nice guy, it was a real pleasure to meet him last night.

I was in Shrewsbury today. Love that place fantastic history. Saw 4 zeds aswell. She'd loads around there :)

Thanks for the comments they are appreciated, it was actually 872 miles and 22 hours before I got to bed lol, but it was a good day all round for everyone and was happy to help out. I am fortunate to have some good friends within this forum and indeed outside of it, my mate loaned us his 62 plate Transporter for the job, Lee Dent supplied the crane, and everyone else the tea. Thanks to everyone involved.
