What are the best shock absorbers to upgrade to on a 300zx? Any good recommendations?

Thx!

It's all about personal preference when it comes to springs and coil covers.

I've had Tein in the past and they were ok. But the KW's I had were in a class of there own.

Set your budget then see what you can get.

Zed #2: 1998 Midnight Purple 2+2 NA. (owned 2020 - now)

Zed #1: 1995 Blue Slicktop NA (2013-2015)

Agreed!

However its also about how much money you have to spend.

Its also about what use the car is put to.

The subject can be very complicated and the end product quite expensive.

New shocks on their own is the first step and it goes all the way up to the level of Tein Monoflex with EDFC

well said that man.

Shame you have just missed this group buy: - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?170414-Coilovers-Group-Buy-Interests&highlight=coilovers+group+buy

However look how many ordered the Meister R/S. Must be something about them.....lol.

I haven't had mine fitted yet, but they will be as good as the write ups about them I am sure.

did a couple of people pull out of the group if so maybe it might be possible 2get on the buy

If there are a couple dropped out, it may be possible to get on the buy. Would have to have a word with Jerrick.

Where's the best place to purchase shocks from in the UK?

I've got a set of KYB AGX shocks with Eibach springs available. Will need your old ones so I can get my car on the wrecker wagon when the time comes.

In good condition, price will be about £150 if your interested?

I've got the eibach and kyb combo. With all ajustable arms, polybushed everything etc (all worth considering if changing shocks and springs). Use my car for track, drag and general driving, weekends away with the misses. Great combination of comfort and performance. See what you want to use the csror then at least you'll know what kind of shocks and springs you want. Stiff doesn't always mean better handling, specially on the UK roads.

Cheers

Danny
