today my z has been transformed.

mikey bean came round to help(mainly do,lol) get the car working properly.

so stripped the plenum off and fitted my venom555's and devlin chip and rebuilt it up.

completely re-plumbed the whole boost system and rewired some bad connectors.

the end result is the car is now an absolute animal.

hiting 1bar of boost at only 3000rpm and holding perfectly.

been at it all day so thankyou mate, your a star.

consult results looks much better now too.

i think theres always something else that needs doing on a zed, but hopefully it will stay ok for the time being until i can throw some more money at it.

replace timing belt and do the wiring loom and turbos to be next hopefully.

managed to do a few more miles today seeing how it runs.

would seem timing belt may be a tooth out as i do get a few flattish spots, but overall its running loads better and with amazing amount of pull.

was planning a belt change anyway over winter so will just bring it forward a bit.

would love to know what its running at, but not gonna till ive got the belt changed.

i would guess it at around 380-410bhp now with current mods.

last time it was at 348.8bhp and 360.5flb. So must be quite abit more now and it feels it too.

Nice one Dave , good to see you,ve kept at it bud !

Good work Mikey

I have to say Mikey has been really helpful to me as well...... Is it me or is the Z community helping one another more and more as money gets tighter????

Watching my Z disintegrate on my driveway!!!

I think this forum has always been the same, the things members will do for each other on here is fantastic. Keith (kjz32) is in the process of sorting my body kit bumpers and paintwork out for me. And if anyone ever needs a paramedic give me a shout.....:lol::lol::lol:

cheers boldy mate, has been a uphill struggle but more than worth it.

And yes i agree the whole zx community is feeling the pinch with money and can feel for each other when in need of parts either with selling them at a much lesser than usual price and helping members/friends out with free parts.

Nice to be part of a great community in such a tits up world.

Anyone want a new mrs?

Been trying to offer her free with parts for months and no takers........

Money's tight so I thought I would make her redundant in my latest cost cutting exercise........

Nope, I have been helped by members all accross the country (yes Doncaster included). I think this forum is fantastic for help, advice and parts needed. Parts are sold very cheaply or even given in some circumstances, and I have yet to see another club/forum with the same ethos as this club has. This is in no way a dig at ANY other clubs/forums, and is MY opinion not anyone elses.
