From what I've heard Kumho are crap.

If you want good medium priced tyres, I've got Fulda Extremos on with no problems at all. They've done 5K miles and have plenty of tread left. Hope that helps.

Well my last set of rear Bridgestone S-03's lasted 10K and I'm pretty happy with that. Whilst I don't do donuts all over the place they certainly don't get an easy life. Having said that my previous set only lasted 6K but that was with S-02's and before I got the wheel alignment sorted correctly.

Kumho tyres on a Z are dangerous, IMHO. I had them on the rears when I first got my car. They would wheel spin all the time the traction is non-existent in the wet.

I have Falkens on mine at the moment and I am very happy with them. I have tried Bridgestone S02's too. The Falkens are not as good as the S02's but they are very very good. They also cost nearly half the price as S02's too.

Try Toyo Proxies. I think that they are great and they always get good reports on our site. The 225.50.16 are available on the web for about £75 delivered

Seconded! Bloody excellent tyre. Tried them all and these are definately the best.

I agree with the above. Toyo's are the dogs danglies!:D

Khumo are cheap yes, but how expensive is 300ZX bodywork? If you fit them in the winter you most probably will be contacting AndyZ for some repair bits!
