Been perusing the local scrap yards and I've found the remains of a R33, the guy said I can have the rear callipers for £30, figured that was a good price, however is there much point?

 

Couldn't find a definitive answer with the search function, I don't think it's a GTR, but someone did tell me once that skyline callipers are lighter than ours. any truth?

If its not a GTR then I would'nt bother mate, spend the 30 and time on something else :)

I don't think they are but maybe someone mre knowelegable and a better speller will know for sure

GTR 33's are Brembo's and at 30 bucks thats cheap! get the matching fronts and fit the 324mm discs and you got a decent set up.

 

If Brembo ain't stamped on them, then they ain't GTR

r33 rears are the same as ours, the fronts are lighter and better alloy calipers and 20mm bigger

I have GTR brakes. If the brakes have Nissan n the they'll be from the GTST and if they have Brembo then they should be GTR.

And at £30, I'd say get them if brembos

The guy didn't seem to know much about it, there wasn't much left of it, engine, transmission and the front breaks had gone, just the rears left, all he could tell me was that it was once an N reg. it didn't look like a GTR, i'll have a better look at it next time i'm about.

In a Nutshell yes and the calipers would be either Red or Black.

r32gtr front calipers are a slight up grade still have nissan on them not brembo but the except bigger discs .
