Hi all I need a new aircon drier for my 93 tt ( its a round canister about 3 inches dia and 6 inches long and sits in the nose of the zed, any one got a new one or know where I can obtain said elusive item,

Is yours a new one Mark ??, i cant really send a pic, as i do not have one , however it is next to the stock recirc valve on the drivers side, does that help ?? Also all being well tonight i will be trying the ASCD Module ,

Thanks Mark, my aircon chappy says i need a new one, the unit fitted to my car and likely any other of this age will now be full of water particles, not a problem in isolation, however if you add leak sealent as i intend to in order to fill in any micro leaks then an old Drier full of water will knacler the entire system.

a receiver/drier is knackered after being left open for more than 30 mins technically!

 

although a deep vacuum will pull a lot of moisture out the drier will be full of moisture from the air within this period - this is why they should be replaced every time the system is opened and should be fitted immediately before recharging! ;)
