can anyone suggest any springs that will lower my Z 40mm or more? lowest so far are MJP's at 35mm but don't want a gap at all between rubber and arches! (just put 18's on)

.......... and I know it will bottom out etc but I want that slammed look.

cheers.

Intrax do a 1.5 inch drop

Eibachs on 18s fills the gap.

so do Blitz and they are not 40mm.

I fitted Blitz,go 45mm and you will regret it,not only will you bottom out but you will also SMASH everything under the car,eg exhaust etc:(:(:(.

I take it you are only going to dive it on bowls greens. Do a few doughnuts and it should piss off the wrinklies, but try driving it on ANY normal road and you won't here the engine or the stereo, all you'll here is SSSKKKKRRRRIIIISSSSHHHHHHH as you wear away your chassis!

If you really want to go that low, buy a Nova and a copy of Max Power :D ;)

and mind the adjustable top links to de-camber it or else you'll be buying new 18" rubber every couple of months as the inside edges disappear

Cool;) the 300 has very little ground clearance, when you lower the car that much like a pug/nova etc you can get away with it,as they have good clearance in stock form.

EG I can change the oil on my wifes Pug,without even using a jack;).

ok im mad but i think you misread it, i have the very same blitz springs you have fitted and what im saying is they give me no problems whatsoever and now im changing my responce because i realise i misread what you were saying, so i am going to ramble on until you forget what i did wrong and turn the whole thing back on its head:D:D:D and then get back to the point i was trying to make, which is well errm the same as you and anyway, i forget why i started this, so i hope you do to :D

LMFAO:D I said go 45mm and you will regret it.

I should have said.............I fitted Blitz springs they are cool,go 45mm and you will regret it;)

Now it all makes sense....

Have to admit the Blitz springs are excellent, lowers it nicely- not too low.

And as for the handling- its like a different car.

Dave

SE springs are very nice too, 25mm front and 30mm back.

quite comfy ride but rather expensive at 250 quid.

I went for them anyway as I like the car horizontal opposed to being nose-heavy.

cheers

yeah-very nice price too from SE.

Must admit though, would prefer not as much drop at the front as the back-that would even it up nicely!

My experience of SE has been very bad -so will prob give them a miss!

On a more positive note, Luke at the Z Centre has helped me out with every single problem I've had!

Cheers though, take it easy.

has anyone noticed though that these cars do tend to look nose heavy?

I am pretty much obsessed with making a car look even front and back. And the problem is the springs dont seem to cure that (or is it just me)?

and of course if you go and cut the spring on the rear you end up buggering around with the setup.

MaxW**k here we come!

Buy a Nova m8!
