Just asking at the mo, really to se if this is gonna be worthwhile, finally got some definate pricing on getting highly polished stainless side sills made with 300zx Logo which lights up Indiglo Blue, pic attached of alloy ones, but will have same Logo and lighting as pic, how ever as the tooling and setting up costs is just under a £1,000, i need to know who is seriously interested before i pursue, if i do, will then move it over to my traders section and get them out in time for Xmas pressie's :D

Cost is expected to be £150 for the finished product, please just say a simple yes below if you would go for em, don't wanna be doing any kinda trading on this section.

cheers

Well the plan is a.s.a.p so yes before Xmas, except to say excatly as the pic above, BUT in shiny highly polished stainless, same indiglo too, biggest problem being as the tooling costs so much we have to get large numbers made in one go, my first invoice will be £4,000, so hence why i need to ascertain numbers, unless it's in the high double figures like at least 18-25 then it won't happen, doesn't help that the buggers are handed, so that contributes to the high setting up costs, looking at ways of making it cheaper, but £150 a pair is the delivered amount as it stands now, so come on guys, if you want em, say so;)

cheers

Please Sir, Thankyou Sir!:D

So the metal sills with the luminated 300ZX logo are not standard then?

Previous owner must have fitted mine then....

Barry

I hate you Barry, LOL

Smithy presuming they go ahead, will the makers or can we administer some sort of clear protective coating to them as I hear they scratch up very easily?

Well we're not doing to bad here, with the interest above and those who have mailed me, we are up to around 16 a few more would kinda do it, i can't produce a set to show first simply cos the tooling and setting up cost is just shy of a grand, all i can do is say they will be as nice if not better than those in the pic, so a few more and i'll get em made and just pray you guys luv em enough to buy em ;)

Hi Smithy,

Any update on when these babies will be available?

Happy New Year to all

Hiya Smithy,

Yes I'd deffo be up for a pair of these beauties.

I'm still meaning to go ahead with the SS pipework we discussed but I have to placate:-

i) HM Collector of Taxes

ii) HM Customs and Excise

to the tune of a few thousands of pounds before I can go ahead - but the £150 for the kick-plates is no problem.

Looks like it's a NO NO!:(

I thought that Smithy was saying that the kick-plates would still go ahead?

I know it looks like the rest of my SS pipework is going onto the 'back-burner' for a while....it means that I'll appreciate it all the more when I do get 'round to it........kinda like when I eventually get it together with Kylie!!

Of course - my pipework won't by that impressive.

Oh it will, cos i want em too, just have to sort company finances out first then they'll be sorted.

smithy

How did I miss this? Must have been away!

Are they still available? If so, how do I get them?

Harry, just gotta sort the closing or re organising of cybercraft, then they'l be sorted well in time for the summer meets, so just look out on the forum when they are advertised.
