Thanks Jimmer!

Thanks to my good mate Jimmer for this evening's work on my Z. Just a little bit of offset correction for the rear. When I was over at Z1 last month, I felt that my Z could use an extra 10mm, so bought the Z1 spacers and NISMO extended bolts and brought them back to the UK with me and this evening Jim fitted them for me and did a rear brake clean up and inspection, a ConZult check and a full underbody check over.

Needless to say, the car was running perfectly, all the sensors, idle, O2, balance test and everything else was all spot-on, rear brake shoes adjusted, so it's all ready for the drive down to the south of France next month which I can't wait for!

Thanks again Jim!

'scuse the poor quality of the pic. My phone was dying, flash wasn't working, blurred...etc! There's the remnants of Jaffa's front bumper after his offing at Oulton Park.

10mm bolt-on hubcentrics? As far as I am aware, no one's ever made these? There wouldn't be enough material to secure a thick enough nut? Sure they're 10mm? Any photos?

I was talking crap, they are 25mm H&R spacers that I plan to use on the front but one of the nuts is missing. I've emailed a UK supplier and H&R themselves but got no reply from either. What's the max the Nismo studs will take on the front?

I guess you're right, I had to roll mine all the way at the top and have to have my adjustable arms that I intended to set back to oem figures on max negative, oops! I was a little disappointed after the amount of time, research and money I put in to get a decent stance with the 'perfect offsets' but as you say, it can be a bit hit and miss. I just hope it doesn't look silly or handle/grip badly. Time will tell, looking forward to seeing more shots of yours with the rears like that, you've nailed the offsets IMO :)

Well, if it's of any consideration, my Z feels no different than before. It rides very well actually, so I think you'll be fine.

There are different lengths of Nismo studs. I'd go bolt-on for anything ABOVE 15mm. I know somewhere that makes 15mm hubcentric bolt-on spacers as I have them on mine and have had for the past 3 years. H&R are a nightmare to deal with. You know they use to make and still list 300zx springs. You have to special-order them from the factory if you really want them. They're lower than Eibach springs, but have the same quality of ride. Eibach and H&R's spacers are made in the same factory.

Thanks for the reply Si. I will defo need to get another nut then so im guessing the only way I can get this is to make a call to Germany and see if they can send me one over, any other suggestions?

No, just go to any good motorsport place and get one. They're just high-tensile nuts.
