Well! Who's had theirs yet? Ours arrived at about 7 this morning. Very spectacular and I think the thunder was about the loudest I've ever heard! It's getting all dark again now. Think it's gearing up for round 2

I think we've had three drops of rain this afternoon North of Portsmouth, though our friends in London also the storm that came in last night was ione of the loudest they had heard!!

Fancied a bit of Pyrotechincs but looks like, it's going to give us a miss!

Hope no one gets any flash flooding on the hard ground.

Benefits of a slow shutter CCTV camera, Brilliant capture and looking way to close for comfort, nice one Vods!

Nope, not a CCTV camera, its a Canon EOS 1000D, 30 second exposure, 400 film speed, F13 with fish eye lens.

I had been waiting all evening for it and the hubby woke me up at 4am and said your thunderstorm is here then crashed back out lol so I laid on the bed watching it out of the window, love thunderstorms!

Boss (the dog) wasn't bothered by it but Mo my deaf pup was scared of the lightening ahh

There was a massive storm over my house last night. Really loud thunder and it rained so much that my pond's now 5" deeper! lol

And quick reflexes to push the button !:thumbup1:

Naa, just point the camera and click, 30 seconds of praying it strikes in that particular spot, which it did, though considering the amount of strikes last night, you would think i got more than just 5 shots of the stuff, but it always seemed to strike in the time period when the camera was saving that long exposure photo to memory card, damn it!
