Just heard on the news, we dont seem to have heard alot from him since Alas Smith and Jones, but sad to hear all the same RIP..

When i was younger i used to plane spot at gatwick.They had a little executive terminal in those days.Early 80s.Mel smith was flying out from here and 3 of us youngsters went to get his autograph.He was a really nice genuine bloke and had loads of time for us,He chatted and made jokes and signed my log book..top fella..RIP
