ok so i just unplug the wire plug and the 2 hoses do i need to block the hoses up or somthing

can you just replace with new ones? can you even still buy new ones

Just remove it as its not needed.

I remember when I first got my zed and wandered what the hell the noise was

red up on removing it what size bungs to i need for the car with the pipes goin in ? and were are some othe pipes to cap of i dont under stand half of it

just been reading the robs page looks like a lot of pissing about. can you still buy the vaves replacing them would be easy

You can simply bung the exhaust end and disconnect --and bung the vac lines. You don't have to dissemble. Get them gone honestly.

just been looking in the engine bay there are to many pipes every were may to comfusing for me

were can i buy new valves i cant find them any were on line

ok i have looked and read the post 6 times now am going to try remove it i under stand the work i need to do behind the wheels arch i can block the pipe going to the cat with somthing ?. am just a but unsure with what lines to remove in the engine bay

am now reading with the stock ecu chip removing the aiv can cause probs. i will be using a stage one chip soon do all after market chips have aiv delete ?

Removing the AIV's will not affect the ECU, they are designed to feed cool air to the cats when needed. While you are looking for a bung for the down pipe, you can link the corrugated pipes from the downpipe with some hose and clips and a few inches of copper pipe to aid the join.

There is only one vac hose to block at the AIV solenoid near the small fuse box as shown in the pics and nothing else to worry about removing in the engine bay.

Like anything else on the zed, do what you have been doing and read the write ups over until you get to grips with whats involved, coming to do the job is easier with the info imprinted on your brain lol

could i just block the pipe were it goes in to the aiv like unplug it there and block it there
