Steering wheel is the dogs doodaas mate, and thanks :) not fitted yet, on my list for my next "get my bits fitted" moment lol

Yup - great Zedding weather for sure!!! But TBH once the temperature gets above about 26, then I leave the roof in place (same on daily driver) and just bask in the cool air conditioned comfort...

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I use my little girls its factor 50 :lol:

Rich whats the point in a vert if you dont have the roof off :lol:

They really are awesome with the roof off, but at slower speeds you have to have the windows down too.. Otherwise it just doesn't look right!

I'm off to a local show tomorrow on the waterfront so will have the roof off all day :)

Yes and love it mate, got to get the cruise control boss, doing my dash in blue led with s/s rings for the clocks also really thinking of doing an iPad install, and my boot instal. Enjoying driving it too much with it being off the road for so long so it will all have to wait til our usual shitty summer weather comes back !!!

In town then yea ac is better but was a cruise up A roads today so roof off was lovely and cool :)

Good question Dave - but whilst I love the hot sunny weather, I'm one of those people who feels warm most of the time.... Luckily I am dark skinned and do not readily burn, but nonetheless I could sit outside in my pants in the December snow and not feel cold....

So when it hits 28+, the roof goes back up and the a/c switched to 18. And in the ZX, I must admit, I rarely take the targas out TBH.....

bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbboooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssssssssssss

I haven't put my t-tops on for about 3 weeks now! They're still strapped in the boot! I like night time drives. The best thing about this heatwave is that it's warm enough to have the tops off at night. I just put the car straight back in the garage and leave the tops where they are!

I had the targas off in the sweltering heat, then hit a tropical storm on the way out of Leicester, then pure sunshine all the way to Mr Silverline's :D

ditto i have had roof off in vert for a couple of weeks went to japfest2 was in sun all day and by the time i got home i looked as if someone had blowtouched my face!!!

Targa's of for two weeks now but I have noticed the passenger's seat belt makes a lot of flapping noise at high speeds and windows down. Any ideas how to stop this or anybody else have the same problem. There is good tension on the belt and winds back fully.

What series is yours Gary? 2 isn't it? Seat belts on the pillars rather than the doors? My series 1 seems fine at speed with the windows down. One thing I haven't fitted yet (since repaint)are the two little wind deflectors that sit under the targas. I noticed they don't fit them to series 3 onwards. I am going to refit mine as I notice there's some buffeting at motorway speeds, similar to that which you get from cars with sunroofs when they hit about 60-70.

Suppose you could clip it in, even if nobody is in the passenger seat. My mx5 has a little clip a couple of inches under where it hangs, you plug the seatbelt into when not in use. Solves this problem

Yes Si series two with belts on the pillars I guess I should have the windows up at high speeds anyway but did wonder if anyone else had the same problem.

I could plug it in Mandy but its just the hassle of doing it plus it doesn't look cool:biggrin: Could make a custom clip to hold it into the pillar:yes:

I have the same problem gaz. flaps about and slaps the plastic inside grrrrr.

I've never had buffeting though with the wind deflactors missing. Just makes the car nice and quite :)
