Hello i thought i would introduce myself on here i am Keith and ive convinced the other half that we should get a classic car for the weekends :)

 

Ive always liked Japanese cars and at the moment i am choosing between a 300zx or a R33 skyline. Ive been doing a fair amount of research on google and hopefully will find the right car for me through one of the forums.

Yeah, forums are possibly better but also biased towards there own car. I think the zed is the best... Especially mine lol.

welcome welcome, how did you convince the other half to agree? did she agree to a classic car or agree between the zx and r33? my other half is still trying to convince me to sell mine!! almost gave in to....... get the zx !! there are plenty of skylines.... :D

Welcome to the forum, you will never find a more friendly helpful forum as this one, just take a look through some of the help and advice threads. The members on here will go out of their way to help a fellow Zed driver, very rare to find a forum that the members will drop everything to help.

 

Oh and by the way without being biased towards the Zed, the Zed is by far a better car......lol. You would not regret the decision to buy one gauranteed. Gary is close to you and as he has said he will take you for a spin in his, and he won car of the month this month with his beautiful example, take him up on his offer, once bitten, you will love the Zed.

Not to mention far more expensive insurance wise, due to the Chavez issues.

As for your choices, of course I'm going to say a 300zx as well. I have no problem with a Skyline but none of them really did it for me until the R34 arrived. But whilst the R33 is a great car, the 300zx is better looking and has more character - and if you want a weekend modern classic, I think the 300zx fits that bill better.

I had a R33 in the family and the Z won on character looks and comments every time

Welcome to the forum. I've had mine for 13 years now and will have it back on the road soon after some TLC..... I wouldn't sell mine for anything....

I nearly sold the missus to fund the repairs when she tried to make me sell my Z.......

I am sure someone will take you for a spin and get you hooked...lol

Welcome to the forum! I've had an R32 GTR and a couple of R33 GTSTs, all I'll say is you'll get a hell of an awesome Z for the price of an ok-ish GTR ;)
