how long does it take to pressurise the engine to 4-5 bars ? i made a boost leak tester and used it with 12v compessor (tyre inflator) and no luck . I couldn`t hear or see any leaks ( spray with water )

eek 4-5bars will blow all your seals

i was inflating it for a couple minutes and still 0

I found they weren't good enough... easy to nip out the local ASAD and just do it there... or if you have a friendly mechanic or panel beater...

Yep, 12v tyre pumps just don't have enough in them. You need to do it somewhere where it's not too loud so you can hear any leaks ;)

take it up to working pressure (9-14 psi) and the leaks will be more self evident than 4-5
