Some oil in the turbos ?

Ok problem is I got pair turbos that I want to put in to my car.

But they got some oil inside.

Engine is out more than for a month

Turbos looks in good codition no smokes before car was running.

Can some oil get in the turbos in the time after engine was removed or the seals is gone ?

Featured Replies

as turbo removal from the engine involves undoing oil lines then there is a possibility that oil may be in places that it shouldn't be.

If you say that these turbos didn't smoke before and you are happy to use them then go ahead.

However if you are spending a lot of money on the engine you are better off making sure that the turbos are in good condition before using them and just asking on here isn't going to do that for you.

They should be sent off for testing.
