Hi guys!

I have installed GT525 with 0,54AR in a Zed of my friend, Profect B2, Downpipe, etc...

But I can´t make 0,8 bar until 4000rpm...., in my Zed, with stock tubs, I have 0,8 at 2600rpm..

Do you have any dyno or information of the maximun spool??

Thanks!

Your not wasting any through boost leaks are you?

Totally agree with Mark on this.... AM tubs will generally spool around 3500-4500 RPM or more, dependant on tub size.

GT525 will spool at 3500-4000 dependant on set up. I know...... I have them on my 300

4000rpm is about right for max spool/boost on most aftermarket tubs ...

This is the maximun spike boost that can I reach, I have heard that GT525 are similar that stock spooling....

GT525 are similar, but boost later in the RPM range because of the tub size.

What is ur max PSI?

disagree, way too many variables to make such a sweeping statement. Depends on the compressor map of the turbo, breathing mods(intake & exhaust), cams, head work, timing, map, boost leaks....

so taking in to account all the opposite to what u posted

Ie

Standard size

intercoolers

pipe work

exhaust

manifolds

then yes the boost/spool time will be higher

than if he had all the upgrades and no leaks

but as to what i posted up was a good guess

to where about it should be unknowing his engine spec

like your guess he has all of them like u/me/others

yes, I'm not assuming what he has, I was disagreeing with your sweeping statement that most aftermarket turbos spool around 4k.

ok ... but like u said its a sweeping statement ... and there is a load of factors

but all so at the point we are talking about the tubs he has on the 300zx

about 4k would be

Same turbos as me im having the same problem with late spool up on GT525's. Its like it hits a plateau at 0.5bar then suddenly builds boost up to my target boost of 22psi

My personal feeling is that one of the wastegates may not be 100% shut, maybe caused by a weak actuator. Im going to get jimmer to take a look when i have my clutch uprated again

How does your boost build with your boost control off? does it hold actuator pressure or does it creep?
