For those with offspring, happy fathers day! Won't change much to our daily chores but I will have new PJ's to sleep in and a golf key ring for the club Bag. .... Best of all giant Toblerone is all but demolished and the bacon and egg Buttie is on its way... Yey!

Hi SteveE, I got a DVD " last stand " with Arnie...... 2 cards and a lot of cuddles........ day has started well...... Gonna have some dad time and test my new welder later......lol

Didn't get breakfast, but probably a good thing as I need to lose a load more weight.....But a bacon and egg buttie sounds sooooooo tempting......lol

A nice huge card and a little card off of the bump (daughter to be) was very nice

All the best to all the Dad's...I got a DVD a CD with a DVD, a huge bar of Cadbury milk chocolate, 2 great cards and a car show to boot, great day.

I have had a great day with my family. County Cub Camp this weekend and we won the tug of war today. Got home to work on the car putting carpet and interior back in. then I had tea cooked for me and then a personalised chocolate bar and this from my eldest...

I got a nice Superdry t shirt, some smellies, Oreos and Jammie dodgers, and a nice canvas picture of my lad Jamie. He's only 16 months so still a wee nipper. It's good though, like having another birthday!

I got breakfast in bed, then took the boys out to an indoor play place, which meant i could read the paper in relative peace for a couple of hours lol, then we went to the cinema to watch Man of Steel, that was far too loud lol, then finished off the night with watching Bon Jovi acorss the river at the IOW festival.

Ive got a headache now, but it was worth it.

me neither...3 daughters 14...21...29 and not a midget gem off any of them. That was my problem i never got them working young enough and been spoilt by mothers:D

Yup - whilst not a dad myself, I wish a belated happy father's day to all the dads on the forum!!

 

I called my father yesterday to see if he was OK (sadly I did not have the time to visit this weekend, he lives 50 miles away); but he was chuffed with my card and I have bought him a nice bottle of single malt, which I'll take over to him next weekend. Hopefully!

Same every year, but he's more than happy and it's kind of a given now that he knows I will stock him up in June! And besides his birthday is always a few days after Father's Day!
