sorry if this has been asked before but i just bought a 92 z and i was wondering if anyone can help with derestricting it, as at the moment 180kmh is as fast as it goes at the moment ..thanks:cool:

I assume your speedo still reads in KMH, if you get a speedo converter it will get rid of the 180 limit, but by far the better way is to get a re-mapped chip with no speed limit and be able to up the boost safely, contact ChrisC on here if you want someone who wont make an arse of the job or rip you off. Combine this with an aftermarket air filter and de-cat front pipes (cybercraft or Grasshopper pro sport can sort you out) and you have a car nearer 180 MPH not KMH :D

thanks for your help, i did hear from a chap with a z at the max power show that you had to change the wires on the ECU but this sounds so much better,have got a set of clocks from japparts at £40. thanks again:
