My zed has just come out of the body shop and the speedo is not working now. They have cut some of the off side wing out due to rust and welded in a small part of another wing. When they cut it out it was right on top of the wireing loom that runs ovet the inner arch. I am cocerned they might have cut a wire in the loome that is to do with the speedo. or it might just be anothe promlem that has just popped up

So the question is does the spedo circuit run through that loome??

And can it be repaired without taking the wing off?

Thanks

Allan

I didn't drive mine for about 6 months and had this issue, took the clocks apart and cleaned the connections so far still good.

if the powersteering is working that tends to suggest the speedo sensor is working, iirc consult shows your speedo from the ecu? so you could try that to see if you get a reading, that would tend to indicate to me the cabling from there on isn't right.
