Well received a call this morning to say that the zed has a small bit of corrosion on the inner sill area. Gutted to say the least, he reckons it aint bad but having seen some of the horrors uncovered by people on here after starting to sort small area I aint holding out much hope!!

 

Fingers crossed it is as small as he thinks, regardless it will all be cut out and sorted properly!! Not what I need when I have it up for sale. Done less than 1k since its last mot but if it is rotting from the inside out that means nothing, so fingers crossed its all good when I go up today.

best of luck, do you have side skirts fitted ?

 

Might not be so bad but these do hide most horrors and at times have found its the skirts that's holding it all together.

No side skirts, so hopefully it isnt bad.

Take out the interior rear 1/4 trim panels and remove the seat belt reels and you'll be able to see exactly what you're up against...

My mechanic is on the case just now. Will be done properly regardless, couldnt sell a car that was right.
