i agree with phutumsch...

can't even begin to give an idea without knowing the year.. (and proof i.e. chassis number). and other information proving condition. (obviously been re-spayed so could be hinding all sorts of horrors)

if you can find some history out about it, it'll be worth more than 3.5k.

40000km is what... 28k miles ish without breaking a calculator out. £2k fetches an ok twin turbo these days with triple that mileage. if its a rot free example, unmolested, and got the belts etc changed it should easily fetch 4.5k i would have thought. dont undervalue these cars! theres fewer and fewer around now, and they've gone up in value since i bout mine 18 months ago.

its got full history with us, he was the only uk owner, with every thing done by us, cambelt brakes etc, std apart from the rear fogs in the bumper which are a dock fit, never resprayed, fully undersealled by our bodyshop.

acording to the chasis number it was built in jan '93,

wish id got pictures of it, but i forgot to ask him if he'd mind so i did't take them,

ill get him to list it on here if he sells it.

picture tells a thousand words, but id like to value mine at £3500 which I feel is very realistic compared to prices of zeds sold recently and their condition, mine is manual, but also is a series 1 and has about 80k on the clocks. So id say £3500 would be a steal if its in the condition it should be with those kind of miles.
