Here is my BBK !

Parts

Mitsubishi evo 5/9 Brembo calipers

Mitsubishi evo 5/9 brake lines

Mitsubishi evo 10 rotors 350x32mm

Adapters

The evo brembos are one of the best brakes available

They are 1.5kg lighter than the stock Z32 iron calipers and they are huge! pistons size is 2x40mm 2x46mm

The Z32 master cylinder is the same size of the evos so they are perfect to run these babys

If you want to keep low weight, you can purchase the 2pc Giro discs, they weight the same stock 280x30mm Z32 about 7.5kg, but since the calipers wieght less, you have bigger brakes and low weight!

Here is my set

The second ones you posted up where the ones I was on about, I really don't like the way its designed, the fact half the thread depth isn't actually complete. If tensile strength is an issue as we all know cast ali isn't the best for this purpose and steel has a far better tensile strength why not have them made out of 4130 cromoly steel, its strong as death ive staked my life on for years, in the bmx world. The pricing is stupid aswel, if it can be made from flat sheet like the ones above in the first pictures it can be drawn up on cad, and pumped out in its 100s per sheet on a water jet, thrown in the bead do dar and tapped the to appropriate size job done.

2D edge distance would be way overkill on them. Could always do some quick brake calculations and knock them up in CAD for a bit of FEA if anyone really wanted to be sure.

7075 T6 and 4130 Steel have about the same Tensile strength, but the 7075 has a higher Yield Strength and is a 1/3 of the weight. It does however cost about 5x as much though.

Damm what diference in braking! for the first time i have the Z i feel safer! lol

wow they look good...your going to get some dust from them bad boys:winkiss:

They look the nuts! Can you take a picture of the pad overhang on the disc please, I'm undecided to design to 320 diameter discs or 350, a bit put off with the pad overhang on the latter

They have 3mm pad overhang.. not much! the 350Z 324mm rotors and adapters have 5mm ;)
