Wandering round b&q the other day and I spotted these, for cleaning under your car, and I thought what a good idea for getting salt off etc. they're not cheap tho, so before I waste a load of money, has anybody tried one?

No link Mandy.....!!

Is it a full pressure washer, or just a tool/attachment to a pressure washer for cleaning under the chassis? I don't bother with the pressure washer thing myself; I hear they are bad for paintwork as the pressure drives dirt and grit into the paintwork causing minor scratches.... Also I hear that the pressure will wear down, more quickly, the wax protection I have so painstakingly applied!!

I can see the benefits of cleaning the underside of the car properly after winter - but TBH I just get my local garage to do that once a year!

Link? You want me to do computery things?!!! Jet washed my mums conservatory today. That worked well!! I will jet wash my car occasionally, but only from at least 6 feet away. Usually hand wash him. But can't get underneath very well. Think I would only use this occasionally. Probably more for the mx5 that I use daily. Zebedee stays at home if its salty out!

Heh heh - if you already have the jet wash thingy, and the attachment is cheap, then buy it!! If you'll hardly use it, then save your money.....
