Hi Guys

I have mentioned this before (also chatted it with Jeff @ Zedworld last time we met as he is REO for midlands and he is happy for me to post this event here)

They have this big classic car show every year in Trentham Gardens Stoke-On-Trent with around 1200 cars and 5000 visitors

Date: 16 June 2013-16 June 2013 Times: 10.00am - 5.00pm

Car Information: Twenty two super years at this great venue which offers over 1200 vehicle entries, 50 Club Stands, Autojumble and Trade - with the beautiful backdrop of the now fully refurbished Trentham Park and Italian Gardens. Over 5,000 visitors enjoy this great day out every year.

Event Description: Set in the beautiful backdrop of the now fully refurbished Trentham Park and Italian Gardens.

Location: Trentham Gardens on A34 near Stoke

Area: Staffordshire

Region: North West

Postcode:ST4 8AX

I had a quick chat today with the show organisers - they would be happy for any of our Zeds to attend

And it is cheap!

Entry is £3.50 per car for driver and up to three passengers (it costs you far more than that just to visit Trentham Gardens normally!)

This gives full access to Trentham Gardens which is actually quite a nice place for a family day out! http://www.trentham.co.uk/trentham-gardens

If any wives and gf's who wan't to go out into the 'craft village' they can get a pass out

We could either book in individual passes - I will be going anyway - or if we want a group stand (all cars into their own group are parked together and we can put up club banners etc) then we need at least six cars and we book them in as a group, all the passes go to the club organiser who redistributes them to the individual members attendind

The organisers close entries 3 weeks before the event, so ther is some time to organise

The organisers are www. transtarpromotions.com They also have several more shows around the midlands but trentham is the largest they tell me

So come on guys, what do you think? It's a cheap family day in nice surroundings with plenty to do - and a good chance to promote our cars and the club

Ahh well it is a big stately home near Stafford and same organisers as Trentham show.

I was gonna suggest doing this one as well, but wasn't gonna push my luck lol

It is dead cool - Pbryant Knight on here also has (had?) a superb KITT replica judging by the pics. but if The Hoff himself drove that one, then it gets my vote!!!

Richard:clap:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Hmmm well.... in that case I feel there is another show meet to organise then....

Let's have a new 'shugborough' thread (in the morning lol)

I am 100% up for it if my car is back on the road, I'm no longer a show virgin!

Classic car show 11th August. Please note this clashes with Zedfest

http://www.transtarpromotions.com/ShugboroughHall2013.html

It's a big show with 1000+ vehicles attending

I intend to go myself if my car is sorted in time

I have emailed the organisers today (which are same ones as Trentham) with a few questions

How many cars we need for a club stand

Cost and how many pasengers per car

Closing date for entries

If there is sufficient interest I will be happy to organise this event (as long as that is also OK with Noel of course who is REO for Midlands area)

This is mainly our very own Z Stand :thumbup1:]

Watching your other videos m8 of the rest of the car stands just shows to me:

Just how much effort our fellow Zed owners put into making the cars look so good and shiny on the day

How much attention our stand was attracting compared to others

And How damn fookin' sexy the Zed looks 'in the metal' !!

Honourable repect for the DeLorians and KITT :punk:

And What show organiser pratt put 300ZK on our club stand sign!!! :asshole:
