Jolly good Anna - as for your oil pressure, it's 99.9% likely to be the sender unit that has gone bad! Unless of course you have an aftermarket one and your engine sounds like a bag of spanners...LOL

The sender unit is a common failure; pressure reads fine on start up, but when completely up to temperature on a long run, the stock gauge reading drops to very low or even zero. Sounds like what yours is doing? Thing is, the OEM sender unit is expensive - about £90 - so you either bite the bullet and replace it; fit an aftermarket oil pressure gauge/sender, or just live with it...

Richard:ninja:

PS glad to hear you beat the Mazda - if you hadn't, I'd have had to ban you from here for good....LOL

tomyl620 i'm not sure about the BC in this month.. last year was once per mont, but in this year i hear they organise drifr and drag racing just 3 or 4 times :/

RichardSmitch good to know about the OEM sender, £90 is not to expensive, so i will be fix this :)

Hey Anna, agreed, £90 is not necessarily expensive - but it is, for what it is; if you catch my drift!!!

And for the record, I have replaced my own one twice now!!!
