Casio Edifice, chunky, heavy and very high quality. Better than all in the same price bracket.

I also have a Breitling my parents bought me for my 21st but struggling to find a library pic of it on Google as I have never worn it - worth £3000. I used to own a Corum aswell but again way way way over the £250 price range.

To be honest this Casio looks and feels just as expensive as both of those watches! Depends what you are after though...if you want an impressive looking watch then get an Edifice.

I got this Rotary one with another at Christmas and love it especially the red sticking on the black leather. It's down to £99 now so it's even more of a bargain

The other one i have is this Kinetic one which looks stunning ticking away with the mechanism shown through the glass. Unfortunately that's gone back to be repaired (not sure whether to recommend it or not )

My 2 the Mrs bought me the seiko for my 20th and I treated myself to the tag for my 25th after a good year at work, the seiko is a great watch I love it it charges from your movement and it's not too big or flashy and I think it was around the 400 mark (6 years ago)

There again the tag is fairly subtle but I could have bought a decent zed for the same price! Although to be fair the tags gone up in value plus I bought it for a lot less than retail because I payed cash, which is another thing when you go and buy your new watch don't be afraid to haggle even with the big jewelers as they will usually budge slightly on price, also if you can wait until Nov/dec time as most company's like tag, rolex, seiko put up prices in Jan so jewelers want to get rid of stock and if your lucky you'll buy yours for 250 it'll be worth 300 thanks to a good haggle and in a month they'll put up the price so it'll be worth 350

Watches are a bit of an obsession of mine - along with cars of course - so I do like to treat myself to a nice time-piece every now and then....

.....I have gotten rid of a couple over the years, but the current batch consists of 3 Tags, 2 Omegas and a Breitling. My favourite being the latest Omega Seamaster Chronograph; it's a work of art rather than just a watch - to me of course...

I'll put some pics up later perhaps...!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

oooooh i do like the seamaster i was looking at one of those when i was buying my grand carrera i did find it funny when buying my chrono the guy said proudly 'its accurate to within a few seconds every day' christ my 15 quid casio prob keeps better time!!! lol

Heh heh - if you forget to wind it, it will lose time!!!

Otherwise (when I have remembered to wind the automatic ones) mine have all proved very accurate; the Breitling is a quartz Colt Chronometer and hasn't lost a second (or needed a new battery yet) in 6 years. So I'm impressed with that!!
