  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

A few people have done that. I even thought they fitted both Left and right handed engines.

LOL, I just didn't think about it Gaz.... I was ordering my fuel pressure regulator and dampener from Z1; and just wondwered what else I could do with, and happily clicked away!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

So thats another pass on the MOT. This car has never failed an MOT in my ownership and probably no fails when in England. The tester took great interest in the Z plus other testers came over to check it out. The Z had done just over 1,000 miles since the last MOT so I must drive it more this Summer its such a great drivers car. Love it. :)

Started my 3 point rear seatbelt conversion so I have even more reason to go out for a drive... because the kids want to :)

Half killed myself today, been looking at my Z and telling myself id give her a polish and wax for weeks but the sun has been a bit strong or the rain has come down also, ive been a lazy git!

However, i pushed myself to get out there today after a morning at work on a training course.

So, washed her, dried her then all over treatment with autoglyms super resin polish, followed by a lovely coating of autoglym HD wax.

Apart from feeling like ive been run over at speed, im feeling very glad i did it..

Reminds me of how good she looks in her new paint.

Ive updated the list on the japanese matsuri event today, sadly we've gone from 13 on the stand down to 7.

Can anyone who has out their name down, please check the new post from me and please confirm your attendance.

Also if anyone else would like to get on the club stand, please get in touch before wednesday as i have to finalise everything by then with the museum.

It would be nice to fill the 10 car plot we have, so please do get involved as it will be a great day out and you'll be helping to support the club and the museum that has hosted this event.

Thanks folks

Gave it a quick wash this morning so it’s ready to jump in and drive to the Museum of Power for Sunday’s Japanese Matsuri show. I’m busy right up to the show from now so a quick spruce up to make the old girl presentable!

I also noticed that the freshly repaired and painted rear bumper (from a scrape last year!) is showing signs of the lacquer pitting and sinking, so I booked it in with Kraftwork to rectify in a couple of weeks time.

Knowing how you keep that Z of yours joel, im sure it looked pretty mint before you washed it lol..

Never seen it look anything less!

Latest pics of garys Z are dribble worthy too

Nice one Gary....

I didn't do anything personally, but I did have a smart-repairer round this morning.... He tidied up a few scuffs and marks on my leather seats. £70 well spent, I reckon

Oh, and on Sunday, I replaced the little 25 year old vacuum hoses to the fuel pressure regulator and dampener, with some nice new silicone tube. Just £1.99 from Ebay for half a metre, so I have a fair bit left over...

I did nothing today either.....

…...However my parcel from CZP arrived safely at my office. Some nice new OEM scuttle panels - complete with the fixings - plus a replacement double DIN radio bezel. The quality has definitely improved since I bought my first one; sure if I'm picky, it could use a little buff. But all in all, it feels so much stiffer (oo-er missus); and not so much like a cheapo-3D-printed-knock-off.

Maybe I'll get to fit them before the Museum of Power show on Sunday - but more likely, I'll just do it the following weekend. Just in case I should fook something up, right before I have to leave home...

Thats a great turnaround Richard. :thumbup1:

I know - I'm really impressed!! I enquired about the scuttles on the Monday and they told me they only had one side in stock, the other being on back-order from Japan with no ETA. Then on Wednesday, they e-mailed to say it was arriving Thursday; and did I still want to proceed. I saw the e-mail Thursday evening and placed the order.... The rest you know!!

Top work CZP:thumbup:
