  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

;) that drain pipe arrived yet ive got water running down my walls here so send it back..LOL

Well reminded, the Mrs said something arrived but I forgot to check it... Just been and had a look, my word Brian you have excelled this time! You put more effort into the postage and packing of that old girl than people have for things I've paid 1000's for! Once I finally cracked through the almost impenetrable shell, I was greeted by what I first thought was a sock, turns out it comes with bonus windscreen wiping pad/sponges :)

A brilliantly presented product and a brilliant service as usual Brian, now what's your paypal so I can slip you a tenner, the postage was more than half that and you must have used 74 rolls of tape around that fortress box...

Sounds good Ted and role on xmas lol

Took delivery of all these today plus a reverse light panel (not 99 spec), clear side indicators and more thinner blue silicone hose :cool3:.

Gave the hard pipes a right good polish and they have come up very well, should look the dogs with my Mikalor clamps, first dry day these shiny bits and the SFS hoses will be fit , think I'm heading now to a red and blue dress up theme instead of just red that I currently have here and there.

they the ones:cool3:

fitted my new prop and put the exhaust back up and she is ready to roll again

Took out the dash and skipped the kmh/mph converter that was causing my electrical issues.

Neatened up some of the wiring behind the dash whilst I was at it and reinstalled my stereo.

Fitted some SMD lights in the sidelight sockets. That'll give a similar colour to my hids until I move them to the indicator cluster.

Was gonna make a start on sorting the idle out, but the heavens opened.

put my kakimoto single on my manual...jesus i love that sound:thumbup:

I hit my front fog button when I went on the Blackpool Illuminations meet and nothing, so I had a good look today and both ballasts were fine but both bulbs had blown, one smashed .

All mended now though as I always have a spare HID kit to hand.

Nothing because of the weather. But made a plan to build a carport on the side of the house so the zed is undercover for winter & I can do some work on her.

Fit my chrome pipes today as the extra Mikalor clamps I needed arrived in the post this morning, I do have the chromed outer ones to match but no adapter for my BOV's so I cannot use, best I could do for now was just chrome spray my existing - no where near as nice but I'll get them done proper over the winter.

Looking good Andy and strong looking clamps mate :thumbup1: Need your power steering pot chromed now.

lol. I wish.

Maybe next year! I may just have to suffer my bodged exhaust for the start of the show season next year.

Ordered a full set of poly bushes, will be dropping the subframe and cleaning up the whole rear end.

Will Waxoyl at same time I think.

They are very expensive but sound great. I have my rear end up on ramps also giving it a clean and waxoyl but not dropping the subframe.

Subframe bushes on mine are pretty shot, getting a lot of Corner Hop when pushing it, or hitting a pothole.

Ideally I could do with leaving it until next year when I have the new garage built with more space, but that'd rule me out for pretty much the entire show season.
