  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

Well picked this week badger up all for sumly cost all in £50.00

The guy was glad to get rid of it been in his stock for many years tripping over it..

Seeing as I haven't got a garage for her....and am sick of seeing her out in the rain and cold....I finally took delivery of... and fitted... (after completely drying the old girl!) ... a new Fleece Lined Double Layer 100% Waterproof & Breathable Car Cover :thumbup1:

Discount Car Covers from Ebay...

They don't list a cover for the 300zx...but I liaised with them and after investigation they advised that based on dimensions.... their Audi R8 Coupe/Spyder cover would be the right size....very happy with it ....very snug fit....and as it is fleece lined I'm hoping there won't be any paintwork issues!

Might need so spacers just to fill the arch a bit.

New stereo and fascia fitted yesterday. [emoji16]

Had a look at the rest of the car and decided it's time to replace the engine mounts and all the suspension bushes. So if anyone has links to decent bushes and stuff it'll be greatly received.

I taxed mine for another year!

......Should have done it before the 1st, but forgot... Still, it's been locked away in the garage for a couple of weeks - and the tax still gets back-dated, so no real loss to Government coffers:wink:

Must book it in for an MOT and oil/filter change next week, now:cool:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yesterday I dropped the Zed at Keith's for some paint. I think I cleaned the mud from his driveway with the stillen lip. Harry didn't want to leave the Zed, he loves it as much as I do I think.

He was that cosy he slept the whole way down, don't know how with the noise off the exhaust & me blasting out the rolling stones :-)

Only a few paint touch ups. A scab on the T top. The skirts have cracked slightly were they meet the car, probably when it's been on the lift as it's really close.
