  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

It's pretty easy! Remember to put a little bit of lube (red rubber grease) on both the bore, the piston AND the seal. The seal binds when refitting if you don't do that. Only the lighest of grease too.

Hope you're fitting stainless nipples too! Use a tiny amount of copper grease on the thread when fitting those. Make sure the thread inside the caliper is totally clean though. They can be easy to cross thread, just take your time. :)

Cheers Si:thumbup1: Have already fitted the stainless nipples, just to get these built up and order my Evo 10 discs and I should be sorted regarding brakes:thumbup1:

Well, as stated in my Help and advice thread, I've started my Brembo caliper rebuild, One down one to go:thumbup:, I'll post up some pics when I get home from work:thumbup1:

Nice one, can we expect to see her on the road soon? :w00t:

Both calipers fully finished!! Not bad for a days work while doing a day in work:laugh::thumbup:.

Between everything being bought and ordered, I'm hoping to have her done for May-June 2016. Most of the expensive stuff has been sorted. Getting a few bits done with Phutumsch (Andy), Mondo (Si), CarMad (Dave), Jaikai (Lee) and Baz, When those bits are paid up, I'll be sorting tires, evo 10 350mm discs and paying off my Veilside Refurb. All this hopefully done by January, Engine going in late January- Early February. Then a final order to be gotten Stateside, a bit of a paint refresh (not a respray) and Taxed / Insured For May or June:thumbup:

To quote yourself, more pics please!

I had to leave them in work Ali, Want to get a bit of thread lock even though we feel that it should be ok, err on the side of caution and all that:thumbup1:

Had a quick drive today, last one until spring. Then washed her, oiled the arches & put her away.

Another Z away for the Winter Tom :thumbup1: Bring on the Spring.

I really can't wait to get those Targas off again. As I've nowhere to tuck mine up until next year I've been driving mine quite abit. At least the weather is fairly mild... No gritters have been out yet around my way:)

Just keep her safe and when they do start salting the roads give it a good wash and hose down Dave along with the undersides and keep the wheel arches free from mud under that lip mate.

Trust me Gaz, I will do. I am quite ocd when it comes to the cleaning! :)

Today I found a) huge gap in the middle section of my exhaust and b) how green my injector connectors were (and cyl 1 error codes). Big Up :thumbup1: to Gaz (Hellraiser) for popping over with his tools and helping diagnose these. Tomorrow I will mainly be cleaning..

Yesterday went to Ashford & got 2 front tyres.

Fitted new fog lights! But did that last week!
