  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

That's a serious piece of Hardware Rich!!:punk: How much?? around £700-£800??

Good guess there mate - they're around £750 at most online outlets..... But I managed to secure one for a little bit less than that:wink:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Best upgrade the security

Took the Z out A20 Folkestone to Ashford!

Not a single truck to be seen parked up!

I have ninjas with baseball bats on guard outside my garage...

Ha! it's not outside your garage that I'd be worried about Rich, unless the Ninjas follow you in a minibus when you go into town, you could get royally F***ed over if some scrote sees that sitting in the dash. Clifford Avantguarde is probably the alarm to get.:thumbup1:

Nice pic Art, can't wait to have mine back on the road:yes: Still waiting on my box of goodies from Z centre, might give Luke a shout tomorrow.

What you reckon is the best alarm system and what can it offer?

Don't worry - the front panel also detaches if I decide to leave the Zed parked anywhere; so no-one will know what's in there...

I treated my Zed to a little upgrade in the audio department......

...I'll install it on Saturday and post a few pics. Should not take me long, as I already have the microphone and DAB aerial in place from the old Kenwood unit (which will be for sale shortly) - and I have the Z-Thirtytwo double-din facia ready to go (thanks to Luke at Z-centre)....

Richard:cool:

Great piece of kit Rich :thumbup1: I'm still on the oem radio and cd

Following on from post 3724, in mending my cabin main light today I blew a fuse - can anyone guess which one !!!

No more plucking aimlessly and looking at the diagram, these are plenty bright enough :nana2:.

I had a Clifford Avantguarde 750 in my Evo8, Anti-Hijack, proximity sensors, the full works, great bit of kit, once you got used to punching in a pin code every time the door opened it was great, the Proximity sensor barked a really annoying sound at anyone who got too close to the car, it deterred people from trying to look in the windows:thumbup1:

They're not cheap though.

Personally, I'd just pick any easy to use Cat-1 system. They will all act as sufficient deterrent for all but the "steal to order" professional thieves - and let's be honest, those who are seriously determined to steal your car (or from it) will do so no matter what security system you have!

My advice, don't spend £££££s on an all singing, all dancing system. Just buy a decent Cat-1 of a reputable brand, have it properly installed and always remember to use it when you park up......

Just giving zebedee the once over before ten of the best I noticed a 1" split in the hose where the boost jets had been installed. Simple job cut the hose back and reinstall the jet and tighten jubilee clip. Job done fluids checked so I guess it's ready.

Didn't know there wasbones with pin codes. Sounds great. I best get saving. Thanks.

Dropped the wheels to the bodyshop for painting, not long now till they'll be back together:thumbup:

Firstly I took it to Halfords to get a couple of goodyear f1s fitted to the front then we went to A-Line in Dudley to get my alignment and camber set up. Handles a lot better now
