• We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

So it begins. My 300zx has been in my garage for just over a year now but I hope to have it back on the road inside two weeks. Yesterday and today I have been geting it ready for mot and next Monday it will have the 120k timing belt kit installed. Happy days are round the corner :)

Around £550 mate. Most of it from Mike our trader here and the t belt, thermostat and the two hoses from a club member. The three auxiliary belts from e bay and the new cam cover bolts from CJ Tuning. Then there will be another few hundred pounds for the garage doing all the fitting.:)

The 300zx has only 63k on it so I could of got away with a new belt and a few other parts but there is a noise from one of the pullys so I am replacing all three of them and that has pumped the price up mate. So hold on to them kidney's

Well I'm going to make sure my new engine is good to go, so I'll change all the pulleys belts, filters and pumps before dropping it in, the old engine will hopefully be heading to Bristol for the Jimmer treatment when funds allow... probably next year!! So I'm going to have to spend similar if not more???

I bought something !

Nice one, interesting colour, is it more gold than yellow, or is it just the light it was taken in?

Chrome Speedo Rings arrived this morning!! Thanks Lee (Jaikai). They looked a bit dull so got out the metal polish and gave them a good going over!!:xxx::biggrin:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

After collecting my Zed from the body shop last Friday, I decided I couldn't leave it in my garage any longer - and took it on hols to Cornwall......

.......We got back home this afternoon with another 1,000 happy miles covered. So it was a hoover and interior clean today, with a full wash and wax on the cards for tomorrow...
