  • We did a video earlier this week, the Z hasn't been out the garage since July 2020. So happy for this, this is miles away from professional video, and the guy who helped me with the drone and editing,

Today nothing, but I did take the Zed out for a little drive the other day - and stopped for a couple of pics. Any excuse 😉

I know I'm in danger of sounding like simon but a smooth nose panel would look much better. It does however look fantastic and I'm very envious.

I also think you should replace your bumper with a 89 spec (which I have available) and sell me back the jun one :whistling:

Haha, I have a smooth nose panel that I am painting myself, however at the minute it still looks like Homer Simpson painted it, once it is up to standard it will go on. I want to have a hand in each aspect of my cars restoration personally.

Oh and Phutumsch, it's a "Malard alighting proper" "Semper Vigilante"

Gold wheels look 100xs better

The gold wheels do look better by a country mile, but not because they're gold!

They look like Work VS-XX to me. A very nice high quality wheel.

Took Zed to Rochester Castle then after that to classic car show at Aylesfor Priory , there was lots of beautiful motors and only one Zed :)

Ive done 200+ pics and I promise to do a thread to show all of them when I get my internet back running coz now Im posting from phone ,

Nice touch to the engine bay,

Got some new wipers as the old ones are useless, little bit pricey at £27 quid for bosh wipers but well worth it, they work.

Cheers

Only problem is when you fit stuff like this it shows up the stuff around it so off you go again cleaning and painting......its never ending

Tried to work out why my nearside front indicator didnt work. Changed the bulb but no difference. Old bulb ok. Guess what then it started to work!! Yippee!! Short lived as off side front indicator now not working. Bulb ok!! back to drawing board!!

Pricey maybe - but the knuckles on those Bosch ones are not nearly so large and ugly as they are on the cheaper versions.....

Took the wife away in the Z for the weekend.

We stayed in a small village just outside Banbury to celebrate the local pubs 500th birthday.

Usually we visit every year by narrow boat, but thought the Z needed a treat this year.

Managed to fit in some archery as well.
