Could well be talking to myself here???

Are there still active club members in the EA region or am I the last one? If not, anyone got any plans to get together or are you thinking of arranging something over the summer?

There are still a few EA members mate - including our very own moderator extraordinaire; Steams!!

It would be good to get a new REO on board for your region to help drum up interest for meets etc; no-one has sadly shown interest since AlanZ stood down some time ago. Hopefully with spring just around the corner, the whole car meet scene should start to pick up....

.....I am actually heading up to norfolk for a short holiday at the end of the month myself - although I might not be able to wrangle attending a ZX meet past Julia...LOL

I don't mind being REO for the EA region, only thing is the numbers here are dwindling. Where about in sunny Norfolk are you off to and are you using the Z?

As for meeting up, yes I should imagine a short holiday/break is not the time to sneak off for a meet. Lol

Let me know if I can help out here on the forum in any way.

Cheers, Tony

Norfolk seems to be a bit of a zed dead zone! I haven't seen another one since getting mine in 2010. Anyone else out there???

Hi Tony,

If you are up for being REO, I'll put it before the committee - and Voddy our NEO. In general I think 300zx owners are dwindling as the cars get rarer and more expensive to run; but don't let that stop you from holding meets. After all, some people do travel out of their region to meet other owners and have a good day out - especially if there are some decent driving roads and places of interest to make a day of things!

Thanks for the interest mate; I'll be in touch by PM shortly....

....As for my hols, we're staying in Sheringham, our hotel is apparently right next to Sheringham Park. I used to visit Norfolk a lot as a child and, apart from a 2 day break to Norwich about 3 years ago, I've not really been up that way for years - hence I thought it's time to return....

.....I'm not 100% sure I'll be bringing the ZX - although I normally do use it for holidays...

Looking at a google image of EA region it's actually my main region anyway, oops! I'm not sure if the 'forum region' covers the same area but it seems like a reasonable coverage. Bury St. Edmunds seems like a central spot based on this pic but I'm not sure what the consensus of other members is?

The mid suffolk show ground near Stow Market has a Spring Classic car show, loads of entertainment, auto jumble, yank tanks etc. Could be a good place to meet. Oh yeah, and beer!!!

Sorry guys. Take a look at this http://www.shows-uk.com/shows/springbreak/ and see what you think. Not too sure if we could display the cars, but a possibility I will look in to if we have enough interest. 12/13/14 April. Stonham Barns, just east of Stow Market.
