Hey Guys,

My zed's got a spare tiny front number plate, what are the regulations in the uk regarding this matter. Would it e legal for me to use this instead of my full size number plate? Its white with black normal font!

Cheers!

Number plates, letter size and the correct spacing between the letters is the law unfortunately. You could run the gauntlet but there is up to a £1000 fine. Check it the DVLA website. Looks nicer smaller.

Back when I was a teen I had a cool, yet illegal plate, wrong spacing, wrong font... I was pulled over twice. On one occasion the Police person decided to block traffic whilst advising me of my wrong doings. So, in the end it just wasn't worth it, I went back to standard plates.

If you mean import square (motorcycle style) I think they're ok. I had a similar size on the front of my Probe and had no problems.
