I fitted Recaro SPG in my Z32 which is a fixed bucket, the seat is bolted to the side mounts and side mounts are bolted to the base frame/rails

however my base frame/rails are by Recaro and are Z32 specific model

ok i have a genuine bride base mount frame which i got in from japan for z32 do you think the bride side mounts on the new seat will bolt up to the base mount bride frame then .or do i need a side mount subframe .

I can't say about Bride's cause mine are Recaro

my Recaro side mounts lined up perfectly on top of the Recaro base frame.

you will need sidemounts regardless if they fit on top of the base mount or not, so might aswell get the Bride side mounts and see if it works.

if they don't work then you need a bracket making which will act as an adapter and will sandwich between the side mounts and the base mount... only problem with that is they might raise the seat quite high, but I think Bride base frames are very low anyway so might be ok.
