everytime you go looking for something good you find tahts its available in the us or oz but here forget it, or you've gotta pay obscene postage. take these coil pack connectors for example.

Small market here mate.

????? I can't see the Aussie market being bigger than here...

I agree the US is larger and consequently more parts at a better price... but the antipodean colonies???

you can get them plugs from nissan uk ive got some not sure if they work out cheaper .

Those connectors require the fitter to strip the existing wiring out of old connectors and refit and re pin into the new ones, ermmm sod that malarkey!

Get just one wrong or not quite in and you back to square one, not to mention the time it takes to do it whilst bent over the engine.

Nearly 35 quid for them, whereas new connectors with wiring already inserted so much easier to do and have fresh wires too, maximum 60 quid, I know which i prefer and some things that are cheaper, like in this case are for a reason :-)

smithy

I brought some new nissan coilpack connectors with all the wires allready connected im sure the guy i brought them off on here recommended pushing the pins out and just use the plug .so do you think its better soldering and heat shrinking each wire .

that does look cheaper but still if they were in the uk the postage would be no where near that, I dunno what nissans price is but zcentre charge....£10+vat plus his extortionate delivery charge.

Always try MJP first for oem parts, he also sources patent parts, not sure whether the plugs are on the list of PP, but worth a try.

Have to agree there......

.....Mike is the best source for new OEM parts; he'll generally give the best price and will always be first for reliable, dependable service. Plus you know you'll always get the right part dealing with MJP!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

yeah I generally get bits of mike because he's not only cheaper but he also doesn't try to sell me new wheels as well as single park plug.(you all know what I mean)

You need to look at these, genuine Nissan connectors, with tails so much easier to connect than sodding about with individual wires in the connectors, so long as you can use a soldering gun and heat shrink.
