any rough idea of how much & what diameter vacuum hose you need to replace the vacuum hoses on a TT?

most deletes are done so that must save a bit LOL!

most places do kits...

check out ebay... or SFS

I checked SFS but they list about 6 different sizes and I am sure you only need a couple of sizes - just wondered if anyone knows for sure

3mm does seem very small - perhaps theres a few bits for where the vacuum pipe goes to the boost gauge sensor - I really should just go & measure a few pipes!! :D

PMSL - so the other links were 3, 5 & 8 - now we have 4 & 6mm as a possibility too.

Has anyone actually bought any & fitted it?!

4mm for all Sensors and Solenoids

5mm for all Turbo Vac side

8mm is for Water feeds So not Reg silicone piping

LOL.... it's really not difficult...

the small hose is 3 or 4 mm and the lager one is 6mm and you can also use the 8mm one from the power assistance unit vac hose....

and yes i have used the 3, 6 & 8 mm kit and used all three sizes...

if you're still not sure.. pull some vac lines of and measure the inside size....

or use the "search" option... :)

yeah sorry i forgot about the Brake/clutch vac side being 8mm ..

but it is for sure 4mm and 5mm but i used 6mm its ok but need to cable tie some of the joins due to being a little large ..
