Unfortunately all of the 35 degrees were farenheit ones..... but at least it was quite bright

So what to do on a day like this...

Ahh I know go to the local park :cool3:

You would not believe (or maybe you would) the stir this caused while taking these pics.... from people asking what it was to lots of people taking their own pics on phones and even professional camera kit

And of course 'what is it' 'good luck selling it' and 'how much is it'. They seemed a bit disappointed when I pointed out these pics were fore the owners forum

I had a lot of fun taking the pics and rather enjoyed the attention too

Nice picks Dicky - and Jason is right about the wheels!!

I was planning on taking mine out today as it was sunny here too. But then Julia suggested going for a walk instead - so we did and finished it in the local pub at lunchtime. And because neither of us was driving, we could both enjoy a beer in front of the roaring fire followed by a nice bottle of Chateauneuf de Pape with our roast lamb before a slow walk home.

Not quite as good as going out in the ZX, but I still have that warm fuzzy feeling inside nonetheless!!

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Cheers guys, yeah I really enjoyed taking the pics - will probably use the park again when the interior is done in about a month

Certainly the car was causing a lot of attention!

BTW I know I need a new back number plate - struggling to find anywhere local who can print me one the right size as it's non standard

I got the 13ft float rod out, the centre pin and a few pints of red maggot and trotted the day away for grayling. no grayling but 3 lovely brown trout. couldn't feel my toes for well along time. not everyones perfect day but I drove the zed on Friday :)

Very nice Zed mate, love the wheels and colour, something`s not quite right with the front end, I can`t put my finger on it, its not bad, in-fact its nice :) just my opinion :)

I think its just the front bumper lower lip missing? good effort though ;)

@DazVert

Yeah

i'm trying to create a show quality car that is practical for road use (not a daily runabout) but she barely gets over speed humps even now. I worry how much lower the lip would be and how long it would last, so I decided not to fit one for practical reasons

However most of you on here now know i am very open to suggestions.... that's how the car ended up as it is now, so...... :cool3:

I just thought about this - that 'stance' thing that everyone was going about on another thread - not sure what was really meant by that but does mine have any of it?

The other day it was 44 deg C not F in Western Sydney Australia , I live 150 Klms South of Sydney on the sea side and it was still 38 C deg. so being sensible I locked the ZX in the gararge and watched the old F.1 cars on the big flat screen TV with a few beers. So enjoy the weather "rain or shine"

This is the friend BTW who I am really trying to suggest he buys himself a Z and joins the club :cool3: Prob is if he does it seems he really really wants a shorty targa TT (so he says) and not for silly money
