Hi guy/gals

Since 13 (Now 21) ive been a longtime admirer of the 300ZX and was going to make that my first car if insurance wasnt an issue. Would have made that my second car if insurance wasnt an issue but now I can take that leap and hopefully find myself a gooden which I will be looking to keep for as long as possible.

Currently I drive an Alfa Romeo 147 GTA which is such a great car but having had a 147 before it I feel its time for something different. A swap would be ideal but I cant see it happening as only been offered a silver GT which im not keen on.

My list was:

Alfa Romeo Brera 3.2 V6

Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 V6

Supra TT

300ZX TT

So ill be around the forums again and hopefully will make it permanent.

See/read you on the boards!

Thanks all

welcome, trust me once you drive a 300zx you will be hooked, my first go in was as a passenger, in a non turbo, then i just had to get my own, had an auto tt now a late spec uk tt manual.

Look at a few, and get the best one for the cash you have, there are some total dogs out there, but also some very well loved ones.

If your unsure of any aspect about these cars, post it up, we are a great bunch and will offer any help we can to new guys. Get yourself a zed. Way more fun than Italian...........

Thanks for the warm welcome, wealth of information on this site. I wonder the changes of getting a totaly standard one are bar a few mods

Tbh theres lots of stockish ones kicking about, however stock unless its ultraclean and followed by a massive list of parts and services, is ussually imo a sign of lack of maintaince. If its got quality mods it ussually is a sign of money being spent on it.

I dont mind too many mods under the bonnet but bodykits/interior and alloys i want stock.

Had a look on the usual sights and nothing taking my fancy at the moment. Not in a rush so will keep an eye out

I test drove a Supra TT with BPU. It was a lovely car, but really didn't excite me. So I bought a 530bhp 4dr R32/R33 Skyline hybrid. That was fun, but I now have two 300ZX TTs. One is modified and used as a develpment vehicle for tuning, drag racing and daily driving. The other is bone stock. Both in black, both JDM Auto TTs. They are truly amazing cars (just Google "Car & Driver 300zx"), just a bit daunting to begin with, but you've got a wealth of information on here available to you covering every topic possible.

Go for it, you won't regret it :thumbup1:
