As the bodywork is undergoing a freshen up, I want to replace the 'pinstripes' (I guess they're called that)

I know the pics are rubbish but its this black stripe I'm talking about... I've used DMB graphics in the past but can't see anything for the Z. What have people on here used?

Ta in advance

^^^ what he said ^^^ removing the stonechip also takes years of the car. However if you want to keep it then have a search on swage line (sp?) as there are suitable replacements available.

I really like the pinstripe so it's gonna stay, think I may just get some replacement dark grey/black stripe and replace it all the way round. Losing the stonechip sounds like a nice idea but a lot of work? Plus I really love the stock look so think its gotta stay too... Am I being boring?!

Losing the stone chip is a lot of work and involves a huge amount of sanding, does look the nuts though when done. And no your not being boring, nothing wrong with the stock look at all :thumbup1:

Thanks for all your input. As I want her as original as possible I'm sticking with the dark pinstripe. Width is to be confirmed as will measure what's on it at the mo.

Can wait to show it soon to see what you guys think in the flesh :-)

You may find getting some of the old stuff off a bit fiddly, can be a bit stubborn, coming off in tiny pieces, don't scratch your car, but if you do, the strip should cover it up :)

If I remember correctly the original pin stripes are 9mm and are dark graphite grey as opposed to black, when I replaced mine I got them from paints4u.com. I cant see them listed on the site but might be worth sending them an email
